• Do you buy sugary cereals for your kids?

  No. They're pure junk and a bad way to start my child's day.

  • I won't give my children food I know to be unhealthy. Naturally sweetened cereals are an occasional treat but they must be organic.

• At what age should parents have 'the talk' with their kids?

  Between ages 5 to 6. They're ready to start learning the basics at these ages.

  • I would be surprised if my children didn't ask a sex related question by the age of 5. Kids naturally want to know how they got here.

• Have baby-naming trends gone too far?

  No. I think it’s worth it. I'd like to know all the meanings/translations before I name my child.

  • Picking baby names is a monumental parental decision even though it is fundamentally mundane.

• What's your policy on electronics during dinnertime?

  Ban them. They only distract the family during the meal.

  • I am the kind of mother who will readily remind her crew that any kind of electronic distraction during dinner time is too rude to tolerate

• Is 'Sesame Street' a favorite with your family?

  Yes. We're big fans and love what the show teaches our kids.

  • Sesame Street will always be a favorite of mine.

• Do you think children's cereal labeling is deceiving?

  Yes. And it's frustrating how aggressively they market to my kids.

  • The FDA is riddled with corporate paid interests. It isn't hypocrisy, it is a tragedy.
  • When "high fructose corn syrup" is listed on the ingredient list alongside the claim that the cereal is a "smart choice", we are in trouble

• How much does the tooth fairy pay in your home?

  $1 to $5

  • Because of the recession, our tooth fairy has a backlog of payments for several teeth over a period of a couple of years.

• Do you believe sex addiction is real?

  I'm not sure.

• Do the men in your life listen to you?

  Yes.

  • The men in my life listen to me when I speak to them in their language.

• How do you deal with temper tantrums?

  • It all depends upon the situation surrounding the melt down but basically we do not reward the temper tantrum for what it is.
